I’m a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society. I’ve been practising since 2015, working initially in the corporate sector in Occupational Rehabilitation, before moving into the Not for Profit sector working with refugees and asylum seekers, with the Department of Education as a School Psychologist and in Private Practice. I’ve presented at the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia conference in 2017 on the use of peripheral biofeedback in traumatised populations, provided consultant services with the Yoga Impact Charity and have volunteered with homelessness and domestic violence services.
My experience with various cross-sections of society and clinical presentations has equipped me with a well-rounded and responsive approach to treatment. I’ve worked with people from diverse backgrounds confronting challenges such as life and career transitions, complex trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and exploration of identity. I tailor my therapeutic interventions to best suit you, integrating evidence based practices from the schools of cognitive therapy, mindfulness-based therapies and somatic therapies.
Most importantly, I see you as a whole person, with your world of experiences, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and complexities. I work with you in a collaborative manner and am passionate about helping you integrate these experiences to move towards a relationship with yourself and the world around you that feels fulfilling.
